COLLECTION CONTESTS

The collection contest of the Galician-Portuguese oral tradition is a call directed towards education centers of the Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion that expects to provide the continuity of the work developed on the field of education with the Galician-Portuguese Intangible Heritage after the presentation of the Candidacy of Galician-Portuguese Oral Traditions to UNESCO.

It consists of contributing to the revitalization, the promotion and the transmission of those expressions which are still alive of the Galician-Portuguese oral tradition by works of collection carried out by the student body in its surroundings.

The purpose of the contest is that the student body of elementary, secondary, and the University of educative centres become interested in the intangible cultural manifestations that are located in their immediate surroundings.
