MEMORY AND HERITAGE: A GOOD PRACTICE WITH ICH
Digital project published with the support of the Xacobeo Galician Language Cultural Projects Fund 2021-2022.
The book ‘Memory and Heritage’ offers us 25 photographs selected from among those collected in the first editions of the PNO! Heritage Images Competition. The images are an example of how young people from educational centers in Galicia and Portugal make contact with previous generations and collect the memories associated with the Galician-Portuguese intangible heritage from family photo albums.
Each of the photographs is accompanied by an explanatory text written by the students. In addition, each photograph is graphically interpreted through a comic strip created by the prestigious illustrator Andrés Meixide, a regular collaborator of the different Ponte…nas Ondas! projects.
In addition to the book in downloadable format, the materials have a multimedia version enriched with various contents. On the one hand, it can be consulted in audiobook format and listen to the podcasts that accompany each of the images. On the other hand, a series of interactive activities designed for didactic use are provided based on the themes related to the different photographs.
