Ten locations across the Euroregion will host student participation in a live broadcast streamed from the Ponte…nas ondas! website.
In a year where the “Ponte…nas ondas!” model of best practices for Intangible Cultural Heritage was the example chosen by UNESCO for the future platform of best practices — which will be presented in December in Xiamen (China) — there will be 10 venues from which the event will be broadcast:
• Caión Auditorium (A Laracha)
• Vimianzo Auditorium (Vimianzo)
• Faculty of Communication Sciences (Santiago de Compostela)
• Vello Cárcere Auditorium (Lugo)
• Marie Curie Auditorium (Ourense)
• Municipal Radio of Allariz (Allariz)
• Miralles Auditorium (University of Vigo)
• IES Luis Seoane Auditorium (Pontevedra)
• A.E. Muralhas do Minho Auditorium (Valença do Minho)
• Decorative Arts Museum Auditorium (Viana do Castelo)
BEGOÑA’S RADIO
The event will pay tribute to the Galician literary author Begoña Caamaño, a radio journalist who inspires the students participating in the Ponte…nas ondas! experience.
Education, heritage, communication, and technology are the core pillars of the “Ponte…nas ondas! Model,” which was inscribed in the UNESCO Register of Best Practices at the proposal of Portugal and Spain in 2022, marking the first such inscription for both Portugal and Galicia.
