• Valença do Minho and Lisboa, in Portugal, and Allariz, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra, Santiago de Compostela, Vigo and Vimianzo in Galicia, are the nine live broadcast points scheduled for this Wednesday, March 26.

The Cultural and Pedagogical Association Ponte… nas Ondas! (PNO!) is preparing to celebrate its 30th anniversary from different parts of Galicia and northern Portugal. The association, which is an NGO consulting on intangible heritage for UNESCO, brought together almost 70 Galician and Portuguese educational centers in this great festival, which will have nine live broadcast points in which students from three educational stages will participate: primary, secondary and university.
Valença do Minho (Alfândega) and Lisbon (Instituto Ginés de los Ríos), in Portugal, and in Galicia: Allariz (Radio Allariz), a Costa da Morte (Vimianzo, Municipal Auditorium), Lugo (Fuxan os Ventos Auditorium), Ourense (Marie Curie Auditorium – Faculty of Education), Pontevedra (Pazo da Cultura), Santiago de Compostela (Faculty of Communication Sciences), Vigo (Ed. Miralles Auditorium). These are the nine points from which special four-hour live programming will be broadcast. A “radiovisual” broadcast that can be followed this Wednesday, March 26, live from the website (www.pontenasondas.org) and the Escolas nas Ondas portal (www.escolasnasondas.com).
In addition to the participating students and teachers, in all programming there will be a wide and diverse participation of bearers of intangible cultural heritage: potters, storytellers, women who repair marine nets, “regueifeiros”… who will be interviewed and will demonstrate their live knowledge.
In addition, Galician and Portuguese artists will also participate live with performances and interviews. Compositions expressly prepared for this 30th anniversary will be released. And journalists from various media will send testimonies of support for the communication experience.
