UNESCO proclaimed February 13th as World Radio Day.
Since 1995 the Cultural and Pedagogical Association PONTE…NAS ONDAS! has promoted school radio as an educational resource that contributes to improving students’ communication skills.
UNESCO has registered PONTE… NAS ONDAS! as a “Model of good practices for intangible cultural heritage”, the first registration for Galicia and Portugal in this register.
In 2025, the intention is that February 13th will be a pre-celebration of March 26th, the date on which we will hold a face-to-face day of radio activities in the Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Ponte…nas ondas!
The theme of the programming for February 13th, World Radio Day, will be centered on: “Radio and climate change”.
Audiovisual works (podcast or video) must be sent by February 10th to: web@escolasnasondas.com
All work received will be issued on this day through the website www.escolasnasondas.com.
